Àtwācàv Ji̊ Qi̊v (/ˈətwəˑ/ /cəv/ [flake] [helmet]) is a subtropical Large City located in the Vātuchàjù Region of the Tetburland.

The name Àtwācàv Ji̊ Qi̊v is derived from the Sylvin language, as Àtwācàv Ji̊ Qi̊v was founded by Ubleth, who was culturaly Tauran.

Climate

Àtwācàv Ji̊ Qi̊v has a yearly average temperature of 23°C (73°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 20°C (68°F). Àtwācàv Ji̊ Qi̊v receives an average of 269 cm/y (105 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Overview

Àtwācàv Ji̊ Qi̊v was founded durring the early 15th century in winter of the year 1408, by Ubleth. The establishment of Àtwācàv Ji̊ Qi̊v was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Ubleth electing to pay people to resettle in Àtwācàv Ji̊ Qi̊v.

Àtwācàv Ji̊ Qi̊v was built using the conventions of Tauran durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Àtwācàv Ji̊ Qi̊v is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Àtwācàv Ji̊ Qi̊v is buildings folow an organic layout of premissive gravel streets whihch gives the city a shape simmilar to a tree, if one views its streets from above. The city resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. Astonishigly, the robustly designed timber walls are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

The city shows nothing out of the ordinary, at first glance. Then you start to notice all the small things. Each window has seven iron nails pounded into the sill. Every door has a sprig of holly overhead. Every well is branded with purity seals and runes to ward the contents. Everyone is carrying a small charm for safety or fortune, be it a rabbit’s foot, a horseshoe, or other little totems.

Cultural Notes

Àtwācàv Ji̊ Qi̊v's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself. Occasionally, for very important buildings, an array of sculptures or one colossal sculpture might replace the entirety of the entrance to said building.
